Hana H.

My name is Hana :) I tutor primarily Slovak language and literature and English. In case of interest I will be also happy to help with history and civic education (note: I will tutor these two only in Slovak), since they are subjects I graduated from and have an interest in. My English is at B2+ level and I am actively working on expanding my vocabulary.
When working with children it is always important to take into account their individual personality and specific needs. The younger the child, the more important it is to pay attention to their non-verbal cues and learn to „speak their language“. I am patient and perceptive and I care about helping every student fulfill their potential.
I don´t have any official experience with tutoring yet. However, I learnt a lot by means of tutoring my younger sister (13 y.o.) and helping my classmates with their studies during the school year.
I think that teachers (and tutors) truly are eternal students and the joy of learning has never left me.
