About me
Hi! My name is Sara and I am a professionally accredited English Language and Literature teacher. I grew up in the UK and attended high school and sixth form there. I then attended an American university, after which I completed a PGCE (a teaching certificate) in English at UCL in London, at the Institute of Education (the oldest and most highly rated in the world). I was a teacher in the UK for two years - I taught children in normal classes as well as children with ADHD, autism and dyslexia. It’s important for me to get to know each child and approach their education in the way that will best serve them, whether that be through dual coding, teaching through play or more structured tasks.
