About me

Hi! My name is Kristína, and I have spent the past couple of years working with kids, especially through teaching English to non-native speakers. In regard to my education, I finished a biligual high school back in 2020, after which I took a gap year and worked as a teacher assistant at a English (Cambridge) kindergarten in Bratislava. Afterwards, I pursued a Bachelors degree in the Netherlands, successfully finishing that last year. I decided to move back to Slovakia last year in December and since then I’ve been working as a freelance English teacher at a language school, allowing me to teach at multiple primary schools across Bratislava. I work mostly with kids aged 7-15. You may ask, why does this girl love working with kids so much? Honestly, I feel very fulfilled sharing my knowledge and various skills with young learners, contributing to their development, be it academic or personal. On top of that, seeing how happy it makes the kids to be seen or understood only further assures me that my work has a meaning. In my leisure time I enjoy reading and running. Lastly, I’ve noticed that I mostly connect with children through arts and crafts, or anything creative in general. :)
