Michaela P.

My name is Michaela, and I studied at the Secondary Pedagogical School in Modra, specializing in teaching for kindergarten and after-school care. I have been working in childcare for several years. I started by taking care of my younger cousin and gradually gained experience with children from other families, including overnight babysitting.

I also have experience creating programs for day camps and full-day camps. As part of my studies, I completed internships in both a kindergarten and an after-school club. I am comfortable working with children of all ages- with younger children, I enjoy spending time outdoors at playgrounds or on walks, or playing at home. With older children, I focus on educational activities, board games, creative work, and drawing, and I am happy to help with homework as well. I prefer spending time actively, ideally outdoors.

I also have experience caring for children with disabilities and children with learning and attention difficulties.

In addition, I have worked as an au pair in the Netherlands and as a nanny in Switzerland, which means I am comfortable working in a foreign language and in bilingual families. However, I always adapt to the specific needs and preferences of each family.

I have a warm and caring approach to children, and working with them truly fulfills me. I always strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where we can have a lot of fun together.
